As one of the many "tourists" (pilgrim, actually), I was among those with cameras, and without enough time to thoroughly investigate and appreciate the sites. The Garden Tomb is a lovely, peaceful site, in high contrast to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, as you note. It's too bad that you were restrained from approaching the Western Wall to pray. I was not, on the occasions that I visited the site (nor did I see any sign to prohibit non-Jews). I was greatly blessed to be be among God's people at their most holy site, to see so many of Christendom's holy sites, and walk where our Lord walked.Ken LaRoynoreply@blogger.com
